"WHEN I'M IN MY STORY, MOVING THROUGH A CHARACTER,THE COD IS NOTHING BUT VIBRATING STEEL.WHEN I COME CLEAN, SENSITIVE, AWARE ...I PLAY ON A POWERFUL HEALING TOOL!"

COD HEALING

The therapeutic process in working with the COD

Along the human energetic field are fixed areas/regions that are responsible for the biochemistry of our bodies, our unique personality, and our ways of expression. These areas are called chakras.

In the same way that every substance or energy in nature begins to vibrate/pulse at a certain frequency and stops at a different one, so that each area, each chakra, is activated by, and resonates in a wave of different frequency.

Dr. Barbara Brennan has been able to perceive and map these areas in the field up to the frequency of waves at which they start and stop resonating. For example - the heart area is activated, moved, and resonates in an average of 406 cycles per second- 406hz.

The base area is activated at a frequency of 203 cycles per second - 203hz

The throat area resonates in a frequency of 458hz

And so on...

The COD, beyond being a musical instrument, allows us to "touch", move and calibrate the energetic array that makes up who we are.

First and foremost, through the work with the COD and the exercises that accompany it, a person gets the opportunity to meet themselves and know, in the deep layers of their human experience, the places of difficulty and pain, wounds and stagnation, strengths and joy, and the ability to evolve and change.

The COD is an external tool through which we can, via pleasant, easy, and non-threatening interaction, sometimes shorten emotional, mental, and physical developmental processes.

The COD's simplicity and accessibility create an initial experience of success. No prior musical technique or knowledge is required to begin your journey with the COD. This sense of success is a key factor in establishing the initial relationship between the individual and the instrument. This relationship can deepen and expand with the use of exercises of The “COD Healing” work method.

The therapeutic process that the “COD Healing” method invites to undergo is expressed

in 4 levels:

Physical Level - The Body

Music is motion

The playing of music is our ability to convert emotional movement into physical body motion, from there to produce sound and through that, to create music.

Working with the COD is an Active form of therapy. Through it, we explore and find the source of our movement and Its unique quality. We learn where in our body tension is held when expressing ourselves, which muscles are contracted or relaxed, which systems are stagnated and which are in flow, how fluent is our respiratory system, etc.

The physical aspect of working with the COD is of crucial importance.

Through working with the body we enable and allow internal expression and movement to be vented. The way the body plays, the patterns through which it moves, are the patterns that accompany and guide us in other aspects of life as well. Knowing, recognizing, and changing these physical patterns will eventually bring change and evolution into all these aspects of our life.

Emotional level

Music is an expression of emotions

Music can touch our hearts, it can move us, remind us, bring comfort...

The more accurate we are with the music we listen to, the more we can use it to reach emotional places within us.

Each musical style and genre, without judgment or preference, evokes different reactions in both our body and mind - heavy metal, classical music, African drums, hip-hop, or meditative music... Each style brings its own quality and leaves its own mark.

When taking a step further in trying to accurately use music for healing purposes, we begin being mindful of the tones and frequencies with which we play it. Playing music on frequencies that resonate with our energetic/ emotional system holds vast and profound healing potential.

For emotion to complete a “full circle”, it needs to be expressed.

Whenever we experience an emotion and do not find the time or ability to express it out, it remains blocked/stagnated in the many layers of our energy field. If we look at our emotional system as a flowing river, emotional stagnations are like dams or piles of stones interfering with the natural flow of its waters.

The physical manifestation of energetic emotional blockages is disease and illness.

Working with the COD and its unique sounds allows us to express and release these emotional blockages. The exercises in the “COD Healing” method train us, through music - an accessible and non-threatening means - to generate motion of emotional expression.

Mental level

Music could be an invitation to a thoughtless flow

As in any new path we walk, meeting the thought patterns that construct our mind, working with the COD brings us face to face with our personal "corridor".

The “corridor” is the gap between who I am today and whom I aspire to be.

Walking through this gap forces us to meet our edges, our belief systems, observe the critics and judges living in our heads depriving us of moving forward.

Working with the COD trains us to cross this corridor, to pass through it, to recognize our own patterns and to acknowledge our inner boundaries as they currently are. The more we cross our corridor, the more familiar it becomes. By doing so, we learn to change patterns and beliefs about our own abilities, our strengths, our fears, and to create a change of mind that, in time. will permeate to different aspects of our lives.

Spiritual level

In its essence, music is a spiritual tool

The aspiration of the awakened soul is to expand and deepen its connection with both the self and the spiritual realms.

Throughout human history, men explored and practiced many ways and methods to deepen their connection to spirit. The use of sound and music is nothing new.

The COD and the “COD Healing” work are a step in further exploring and seeking the connection to spirit through music and sound.

Thanks to its in-tuned sounds that are synchronized to the human body's energies, its use in spiritual contexts such as rituals, meditations, SOUND HEALING, and prayers, enhances our ability to connect with what lays beyond the self.

BRENNAN HEALING SCIENCE

Former NASA scientist, Dr. Barbara Ann Brennan, is a researcher and pioneer in the field of energy and consciousness. Her bestselling books "Hands of Light" and "Light Emerging" are considered fundamental in the field of complementary medicine.

Dr. Brennan is known to be clairvoyant and her work and research are based on her perception of what she defines as the "Human Energy Field" or simply: the aura. According to her research, the human energy field is constructed of different lab-measurable layers that directly affect our emotional and physical condition. She claims that every disease originates first in the energy field in the form of energy blocks and depletion before it materializes in the physical body.

Dr. Brennan's work has been noted by practitioners and doctors from different modalities all around the globe. She has conducted researches for the American Board of health and was invited to the United Nations to talk about her unique perspective of medicine and healing.

Out of her work the Brennan Healing Science was born. It is a healing technique based on the practitioner's ability to perceive and assess the human energy field of his client and work on it directly.

The technology of the Chakra Overtone Drum is implemented on Brennan Healing Science.

"EXPRESSING MUSIC THROUGH THE COD IS A HOLISTIC INTEGRATION OF WHO YOU ARE"

THE HUMAN ENERGY FIELD AND THE CHAKRAS

The Human Energy field is a phenomenon known for thousands of years. The ancient Indians called it "Prana", the Chinese "Chi" and Pythagoras referred to it as "Light Body". In modern days, it has been photographed by Semion Kirillov and measured by Dr. Valerie Hunt at UCLA, among others.

The human energy field is constructed of 7 layers of different frequency bands. Each layer has 7 prime chakras and 21 minor chakras. According to Dr. Barbara Brennan, a chakra is a vortex of energy that metabolizes emotional and physical energy (Bioenergy). Each chakra is connected to different body organs and energizes them, and specifically the endocrine glands.

A good example of how much the chakras influence our bodies and everything we do could be seen in the following example. When we get hurt and are having a hard time expressing it, we tend to feel a lump in the throat. Energy-wise, unexpressed emotions instantly block the throat chakra causing a decrease of energy metabolism and lead to a weakened chakra. Once the chakra gets weakened, we feel a "lump" in the throat. People who are having a hard time expressing themselves, suffer from blocked and weakened throat chakra, and often get used to living with a lump in their throats. Since the throat chakra is the organ that metabolizes energy to the thyroid gland (also in the throat), a weak chakra will lead to a weakened thyroid gland. This, in turn, will often cause hypothyroid - slow metabolism, low immune system, and even depression. Many women in their 40's suffer from hypothyroid, perhaps because in our society, women block their feelings many times.

Essentially, you can say that the human energy field and the chakras "transmit" our thoughts and feelings about ourselves and about our environment to our bodies. The term Body-Mind is quite common today and most practitioners, both conventional and unconventional give it substantial weight. Those things, which "transmit" our mind and feelings to our bodies, are the human energy field and the chakras.

The body is surrounded and interpenetrated by the human energy field, therefore it "soaks" and becomes its substances and frequencies the same way a fish soaks the water it swims in. The human energy field has its own frequency, which changes with thoughts and emotions. Normally positive and expressed thoughts and emotions will excite and charge the field and body. While negative blocked thoughts and emotions will block the energy field which will reflect in a lower frequency in the human energy field. The dissonance between the human energy field and the body will cause deterioration of body organs and therefore disease.

But thoughts and emotions are not the only cause of frequency changes in the human energy field. Many things around us have different frequencies and they affect us. When man lived in nature, all frequencies were the same – earth organic frequency. A healthy body or a healthy tree was the result of their resonance with the earth's frequency. In modern times we've become exposed to many artificial frequencies: fluorescent light radiation, radio waves, constant traffic sounds, and its vibration, etc. Our energy fields and bodies are bombarded with unnatural sounds and frequencies. We live in cities and cars, soaking in unnatural sounds and vibrations and disconnected from the Organic Frequencies we're made of.

CHAKRA FUNCTIONS

The Chakras are emotional and energetic organs that metabolize energy and consciousness from our surroundings into our physical bodies. The chakras seem like vortices of energy, placed just above the main physical organs.

ROOT

The root chakra metabolizes energy from the earth and is responsible for our will to live in a physical body (or lack of it - in case of a dysfunctioning chakra). It supplies the kidneys and the spinal column with energy, and when open fully, creates the pleasures of using our body, the joy of sports, and feelings of belonging to humanity and planet earth.

SACRAL

Metabolizes emotional, sensual, and sexual energies. When open we feel vital, joyous, and playful. It metabolizes energy into our immune system and sexual organs. When closed we feel depressed, tired, lack humor, and not attractive. These feelings, or low energy in the Sacral chakra, will affect the intake of energy into our breeding and sexual systems.

SOLAR PLEXUS

Relates to how we perceive ourselves in relation to others. People who have an open Solar Plexus chakra, feel they have a safe place within their surroundings. they’ll feel happy in their own uniqueness and will be able to see others as no threat. The Solar Plexus metabolizes energy into our digestive system. You could say that the way we perceive ourselves relates directly to the way we “digest” our environment. When our self-image is questions (such as before a date..) we tend to feel our solar Plexus in the form of an upset stomach.

HEART

The middle chakra (3 above and 3 below), has to do with our ability to love others: family, lovers, children, friends pets, etc’. We all know the feeling of a broken heart, but in fact, it is the heart chakra that is temporarily deformed that creates this unpleasant sensation. The Heart chakra metabolizes energy to the circulatory system and the heart. A person with an open heart chakra (that is actually what we mean when we say a person with an open heart :)) will be loving, intimate, and friendly.

THROAT

Has to do with hearing, tasting, and smelling, and metabolizes energy into our lungs and Thyroid. When open, we feel free to take what’s given to us (compliments, gifts, opportunities) as well as speak our truth without worrying about what others may think about it. It is only when we’re hurting and block ourselves from sharing our feelings, that we feel “a lump in the throat” which is our interpretation of blocked energy at the throat chakra.

THIRD EYE

Metabolizes energy to our lower brain, left eye, ears, nose, and nervous system. People with an open Third Eye will have a good ability to imagine and envision ideas. Movie directors, sports coaches, generals, and leaders normally have a good third eye which helps them to portray and manifest their ideas. When we need to get a clear idea, we tend to touch our Third Eye with a finger or two to energize it so we get better ideas :)

CROWN

Metabolizes energy to our upper brain and right eye. We tend to feel it more in ceremonies, holy places such as churches and monasteries, or when a life-changing event occurs such as losing a loved one or coming out of a crisis zone. The Crown chakra is responsible for our universal, spiritual, or godlike experiences, experiences who are trans-personal, and puts the individual in proportions with existential questions.

"I COMPLETELY OPENED IN MY HEALING CHANNEL WITHOUT ANY EFFORT ON MY PART - IT WAS AS IF MY ORIGINAL IMPULSE TO SERVE AS A HEALING VESSEL HAD BEEN REACTIVATED BY THE DRUM'S CALLING."

CHAKRA OVERTONE DRUM – THE EFFECT ON HUMAN ENERGY FIELD AND CHAKRAS

The report is based on a Kirlian Camera that captures the human energy field and software for analyses and visualization. Readings were taken on three persons before and after 15 minutes of playing CODs. Two persons were playing CODs and one was listening.

Chakras - blue line is reading before playing and red line is reading after playing for each person

cod-aura-test-1.jpg

The result is that chakras have a tendency to align with each other. On the visualization can be seen as the tendency towards a circle which would be the optimum state. Changes are related to the stimulation of CODs frequencies and the capability of chakras to align. Chakras are connected to the endocrine system which is a complex system of glands that produce and secrete hormones directly into the circulatory system to influence, regulate and control metabolism, and many of the body's processes. Aligning of chakras has a direct positive effect on the endocrine systems and body functions.

Chakras – group tendency

cod-aura-test-2.jpg

When we compare readings of all three persons we see the tendency of aligning as a group. The first picture shows readings of all three persons before and the second picture after playing. This shows us that beside CODs there is also a group stimulation of chakras. The conclusion can be that with COD facilitation we create stimulation of chakras and group alignment. We exchange energy and information from each other thru chakras and the alignment of chakras brings better understanding and connection to each other.

cod-aura-test-3.jpg

In the first picture, we can see a weak energy field in several places. Those parts of the energy field were activated and the energy field was balanced.

cod-aura-test-4.jpg

In the first picture, we can see the distortion of the energy field at the head. This was aligned and the energy field was balanced and charged.

cod-aura-test-4.jpg

In the first picture, we can see the energy field without distortion but not balanced well. The energy field was balanced and charged.

Frequencies of Chakra Overtone Drum affect the human energy field. The effect is activating inactive parts, charging and balancing. All our organs have an energetic part that resonates with other organs in the human energy field. Stimulating the human energy field is also stimulating organs and physical wellbeing.

The general conclusion is that Charka Overtone Drum stimulates metabolism and other body functions as well as functioning organs and physical wellbeing. COD facilitation brings people to better understanding and connection with each other.
